$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gammu-smsd 

gammu-smsd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gammu-smsd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gammu-smsd *

You will get with gammu-smsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table

gammu-smsd package basic information:
